Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: July 14, 2026

This Policy explains what personal information Know-End handles when you browse the store, place an order, receive a digital product, or contact support, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope and responsibility

Know-End (“Know-End,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for personal information it directly collects through know-end.com and customer support. Payment, hosting, and other providers may separately process information under their own privacy terms.

This Policy applies to store visitors and customers. The store does not currently offer customer accounts. Administrative access used to maintain the catalog is separate from the customer purchase experience.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Order and identity information: name, email, billing country or address, phone number when supplied, purchased products, quantity, price, currency, optional tip, order reference, payment reference, payment status, and invoice or tax information returned by the payment provider.
  • Support information: messages, attachments, screenshots, software and device details, and other information you provide when requesting help.
  • Transaction records: delivery status, email-delivery reference, fraud or dispute status, and refund information needed to administer an order.

Information generated automatically

  • Technical records: IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested page, referring page, error and security events, and similar server or provider logs.
  • Cart and checkout state: product identifiers, titles, prices, quantities, and an active checkout-session reference stored in your browser.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the storefront. Do not send full card details, passwords, government identifiers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information to support.

3. Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you, from your browser when it requests the site, and from providers involved in payment confirmation, fraud screening, hosting, email delivery, file storage, and support. A payment provider may send us the customer email, order and payment identifiers, amount, currency, status, and limited billing details needed to verify payment and fulfill the purchase.

4. How and why we use information

We use personal information only where reasonably necessary to:

  • create, verify, fulfill, and document your order;
  • send receipts, transactional messages, and secure download links;
  • restore access, replace defective files, answer questions, and resolve complaints;
  • reconcile payments, tips, taxes, refunds, disputes, and suspected duplicate charges;
  • detect fraud, protect download links, secure the site, and prevent prohibited redistribution or abuse;
  • diagnose errors, maintain reliability, and improve checkout and delivery;
  • comply with accounting, tax, payment-network, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Depending on applicable law, these activities are based on performing our contract with you, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating a secure store, or consent where required. We do not use order or support information for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

5. Browser storage, cookies, and tracking

The storefront uses browser local storage to keep your cart and session storage to preserve an active checkout session. These functions maintain your selections between pages. Clearing them removes the cart or active session from that browser.

Know-End does not currently operate behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or a customer analytics profile. Payment, hosting, security, or identity services may set strictly necessary cookies on pages they operate under their own policies. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising, we will update this Policy and provide required consent controls.

6. When we share information

  • Service providers: Netlify for website hosting and serverless functions; Cloudflare R2 for protected product and order storage; Resend and participating email infrastructure for transactional delivery; and vendors that help secure or operate the store.
  • Payment providers: the provider presented at checkout, including Dodo Payments or Waffo Pancake, for payment processing, taxes, receipts, fraud prevention, disputes, and refunds.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law or valid legal process, protect customers or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce our agreements.
  • Business changes: if the store or relevant assets are reorganized, transferred, or acquired, subject to confidentiality and continued protection.
  • With your direction or consent: when you request or consent to a specific disclosure.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Payment information

Payment pages and card information are handled by the provider identified during checkout. Know-End does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. We receive only limited transaction information needed to confirm the order and deliver products.

Dodo Payments and Waffo Pancake act under their own privacy terms for information they collect as payment provider or merchant of record. Their responsibilities may include identity and fraud checks, tax calculation, receipts, chargebacks, refunds, compliance, and financial recordkeeping.

8. Data security

We use safeguards appropriate to a digital storefront, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access-controlled provider accounts, environment-managed credentials, restricted storage access, webhook signature verification, server-side payment verification, and signed time-limited download links. Payment-card data is kept off our servers.

No method is completely secure. If we confirm an incident that materially affects your rights, we will investigate, contain it, and notify affected people and authorities when and within the time required by applicable law.

9. How long we keep information

  • Unpaid checkout attempts: only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention, then deleted or de-identified.
  • Paid order, payment, delivery, tax, refund, and dispute records: typically up to seven years after the transaction, or longer for an active dispute or legal obligation.
  • Support correspondence: typically up to two years after closure, unless it forms part of a record requiring longer retention.
  • Routine security and server logs: generally up to twelve months, subject to provider schedules and incident-investigation needs.
  • Browser cart and checkout data: until you clear it, the site clears it after verified payment, or the browser removes it.

When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely archive it. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before normal rotation removes them.

10. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to confirm processing and provide access; correct inaccurate data; delete data when no overriding obligation applies; restrict or object to processing; provide eligible data in a portable format; or withdraw consent.

Send requests to support@know-end.com from the email connected to the order and include an order reference when relevant. We may request limited identity verification. We aim to respond within 30 days or the period required by law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Deletion rights are not absolute. We may retain information needed for tax and accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, security, compliance, or legal claims.

11. International processing

Know-End and its providers may process information outside your country. Where law requires safeguards, we rely on provider contractual commitments, standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms, or another legally recognized safeguard.

12. Children’s privacy

The store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our store, providers, or obligations change. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when required.

14. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, email support@know-end.com. Include only what is needed to identify the relevant order or request. The same address is available for general support.
